A career on the owner’s side of the table
Adam Schwartz has spent his career with leading national and local real estate investors, operators, and developers including CBRE, Westfield (Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield), CWCapital Asset Management, BentallGreenOak (f/k/a Bentall Kennedy), and Gates Hudson & Associates. His experience spans HOA management of over 500 units, Class A and B office at CBRE, a $3.0 billion Westfield retail portfolio, six years of asset management on over $1.5 billion at CWCapital and Bentall Kennedy, and underwriting over $5.0 billion at Gates Hudson on a portfolio growing to over 26,000 units.

Where “Coastwise” began
The name “Coastwise” originates from the Coastwise Petroleum Company, founded in 1925 and owned by Adam’s great-grandfather in Baltimore, MD. Its guiding philosophy of honesty, integrity, and fairness is how Adam operates Coastwise Multifamily.
